Never run late or feel left out of university activities with an apartments only 3 blocks from the center of campus. Get involved with homecoming, concerts, sports events, intramurals, special events, and even academic clubs. Meet life-long friends and never miss out on campus life!
Housing Expectations
CSC expects residents to not only represent the ministry wherever they go, but to represent Christ in their character, actions, and speech. Paul exhorts his readers in Ephesians 4:1 by saying,
“Therefore, I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called.”
It is the desire of the WICEA to provide affordable housing to students who desire to be part of the ministry at WIU. Students are required to attend a weekly staff led Bible study and a small group meeting, to participate in Sunday service, to complete a weekly cleaning assignment with their roommates, and to be as involved in other activities as their schedule allows.
Practical Considerations
- Cost= $250.00 one-time security deposit. Rent around or under $1,500.00 for each Spring and Fall semester and under $800.00 for the summer.
- Rent includes= parking, gas/ water/ sewer/ trash. Tenants will pay their share of electricity.
- Washing machines and dryers are available in the building for residents at $1.00 per load.
- 2 bedroom apartments are set up for 4 occupants. Each includes a bathroom, kitchen/living area, stove, fridge, beds, and dressers.
