Campus Students for Christ has 10 different servant student leadership teams for students to serve on to guide the ministry! Worship
Whether you are at WIU studying music, or just enjoy playing an instrument or singing, all are welcome to make a joyful noise! CSC’s worship services involve singers, drummers, guitarists, keyboard/piano players, and miscellaneous instruments.
Audio & Visual Tech
Each large group worship service and Bible study need the help of a few people behind the scenes. If you’d like to work a sound board and control a video presentation, consider joining our tech team as part of the worship team.
Promotion
Every ministry needs help promoting its kingdom mission. CSC is always looking for creative individuals to make print materials, painting signs, managing social media promotions, and simply promoting the name of CSC on the campus of WIU.
Prayer
If you are passionate about creating and promoting prayer efforts, consider joining with other students with the same passion to help CSC leverage what God can do through us.
Community & Outreach Events
Our purpose is to plan and organize social gathering events within our CSC community and as outreach on campus to engage students in connections with God and with other students in our body of believers.
Front Door
We desire to always have a warm and welcoming environment here at CSC where every student feels seen, valued, and loved. The front door team’s purpose is focusing on both welcoming and connecting new/current students to our body of believers.
Service
Our purpose is to worship God through seeking ways for the CSC body to meet the needs of the CSC community, WIU and SRC Campuses, and the Macomb area.
Missions
CSC supports several missionaries and mission organizations around the world financially and by going on trips to serve alongside these missions. The missions team reviews different missions to support as a ministry and helps plan mission trips for students to go and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Women’s Ministry
We desire to help women connect with and grow in their relationship with God individually and communally through events, retreats and get-togethers.
Men’s Ministry
We desire to honor God by planning ministry that shape men after God’s own heart and build community with each other through events, retreats and get-togethers.
Intercultural Ministry
We strive to reach out to the international students on our campus with the love of God to serve them and help them connect with God and each other.
